# 1.174.0 - 3 December 2025

### Release Overview

Our tenth and final release of the year delivers the remaining foundational components for our new [**Connectors**](https://www.ubiquity.co.nz/platform/connectors) feature. We're now ready begin internal testing, before releasing this to our users in early 2026. Alongside this, we’ve continued progress on [**Smart Segments**,](https://www.ubiquity.co.nz/smart-segments) with its first release also planned for early 2026.

This release also includes a set of platform refinements that lift overall clarity, reliability, and consistency. These changes include targeted UI updates, security and infrastructure enhancements, and updates to triggered email behaviour to remove list-unsubscribe headers.

The past year has brought clear momentum across UbiQuity, and we appreciate your continued support. Wishing you a safe and happy holidays as we wrap up the year. We’re committed to building on this momentum with new features and continued enhancements throughout 2026.

Nga mihi nui,

The Team at UbiQuity

### Triggered Emails Treated as Service Messages

Triggered emails are now classified as service messages. Because of this classification, they do not require an unsubscribe option; therefore, we have removed the list-unsubscribe header from all triggered emails.

This reflects the intended purpose of these messages. For example, a triggered email sent after a form is completed should just acknowledge the form completion, and a triggered email sent after an event registration should simply confirm the registration details. These messages are transactional in nature - they exist to acknowledge an action the user has taken, not to promote marketing content, and are therefore treated as service messages under our updated guidelines.

### Minor User Interface Updates

We’ve made a small set of refinements to keep the interface clearer for everyday use. We’ve refined the messaging across several database and transactional database pages to make key information easier to understand and improve overall clarity.

### Improvements and Bug Fixes

UbiQuity is constantly making small changes to ensure that, behind the scenes, everything will go as smoothly as possible and to continue to build a strong foundation to make improvements to the platform.
