# 1.166.0 - 3 June 2025

### Features

The main focus of release 1.166.0 are the changes to the way you log into UbiQuity. 

You will now log into UbiQuity with your **email address** and appropriate password. If you logged in previously with a username that wasn't your email address you will have been contacted in May around these changes.

**Why this change?**

* It’s easier - no more remembering usernames.
* It’s more secure - your email is unique to you.
* It prepares the way for **Single Sign-On (SSO)**, which we’re excited to launch later this year!
